| Why
do you cook in my home? Michigan law requires the use of a commercial kitchen for personal chefs who cook outside their client's homes. Are you insured? Yes, we have liability insurance through the United States Personal Chef Association. Do I need to be home when you cook? No, you do not need to be home. Prior to your cook date we will need to make arrangements to enter the home in whichever way is most comfortable to you. How long will the meal preparation take? Depending on the menu complexity, Chef Bill may spend 5 - 8 hours in your kitchen. How often should I use your service? This is based on personal preference. Some people enjoy it so much they want a weekly service. Others use this service to supplement the meals they prepare. Once you have used Plates and Palates personal chef service, you can adjust your schedule according to your demands and preferences. |
